3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH NAVONA CONSTRUCTION, LLC, IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-EIGHT
6 THOUSAND,FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS($228,475.00),
7 FOR THE RAZING AND REMOVAL OF THE FORMER LITTLE ROCK
8 POLICE DEPARTMENT HEADQUARTERS BUILDING AND ANNEX,
9 LOCATED AT 700 WEST MARKHAM STREET; AND FOR OTHER
10 PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS, Bid No. 1932 was issued for the razing and removal of the former Little Rock Police
13 Department Headquarters Building and Annex, located at 700 West Markham Street; and,
14 WHEREAS,it was determined that Navona Construction, LLC, was the most responsive, responsible
15 bid meeting specifications out of three(3)bids received for the project.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
17 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute an agreement with Navona Construction, LLC,
19 in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Twenty-Eight Thousand, Four Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars
20 ($228,475.00), for the razing and removal of the former Little Rock Police Department Headquarters
21 Building and Annex, located at 700 West Markham Street.
22 Section 2. Funds for the Demolition Services are available in Headquarters Demolition Special
23 Account,Account No. 108529-S52C459.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
