Project Description with Conditions listed:
1) Porch repair
a) Remove brick base and column
b) Install new footing
c) Rebuild brick base and column
i) Use existing brick
ii) Use Type N mortar with joint to match existing.
iii) Dye mortar to match
d) Level structure at both ends of porch
Shim top or bottom of posts to level roof of porch. If shimming bottom of post, remove and
reinstall base of column to match others in proximity to brick column. If shimming top of
post, remove and reinstall capitol of column to match others in proximity to wood lintel.
e)Porch Support Repair
i)Remove and replace porch support columns on north facing porch with supports of same
size, profile and material as existing if needed.
2) Wood Siding Fa ade Repair
a) Trim Boards and Siding Repair
i) Remove damaged trim boards and siding pieces and replace with boards of same
dimension, shape and profile.
ii) Caulk, prime, and paint.
