Garfield Street Lot 10, Block 2, Altheimer's Addition R-2 A variance is requested from the area regulations of Section 36-254 to permit construction of a new residence with a reduced side yard setback of 2t feet. The Ordinance requires a side yard setback of 4.9 feet for this lot. The applicant proposes to relocate this residential structure from 5724 Hawthorne Street. The house is 42 feet wide and the lot averages 49 feet in width. The applicant desires to save this residential structure from demolition and keep it in the neighborhood. One required side yard setback can be provided but the other side yard setback must be reduced to accommodate the placement of the house. Vacant Single -Family residence The applicant has requested that this item be withdrawn. BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT: (JUNE 26, 1995) The applicant was not present. There were no objectors present.
