INSTALLATION OF UTILITIES IN SUCH A MANNER AS TO AVOID CONFLICTS AND ASSURE PROPER
DEPTHS ARE ACHIEVED, AS WELL AS COORDINATING WITH THE REGULATORY AGENCY AS TO
LOCATIONS AND SCHEDULING OF TIE-INS/CONNECTIONS TO THEIR FACILITIES.
8. THE SITE WORK CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE THE INSTALLATION OF ALL UNDERGROUND
UTILITIES WITH HIS WORK. ALL UNDERGROU)4D UTILITIES (WATER, SANITARY SEWER, STORM SEWER,
ELECTRICAL CONDUIT, PHONE CONDUIT, AND ANY OTHER MISCELLANEOUS), SHALL BE IN-PLACE
PRIOR TO THE PLACEMENT OF BASE COURSE MATERIAL.
10. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROTECTING EXISTING BENCHMARK AND RELOCATING
BENCHMARK IF NECESSARY. BENCHMARK SHALL BE RELOCATED TO ORIGINAL ELEVATIONS BY A
LICENSED ARKANSAS SURVEYOR.
11. CONTRACTOR SHALL REPLACE ANY AND ALL OFF-SITE ITEMS DAMAGED BY CONSTRUCTION
ACTIVITIES (ie. PAVEMENT, CURB AND GUTTER, SIGNAGE, LANDSCAPE, ETC.)
12. LIGHTING AND IRRIGATION PLANS TO BE PROVIDED BY REGIONS BANK ARCHITECT.
13. BRANDING SIGNAGE TO BE PROVIDED AND COORDINATED BY REGIONS BANK.
14. CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT MELVIN HALL AT (501)-918-5217 FOR INSPECTIONS OF ANY
WORK IN THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY PRIOR TO PLACEMENT OF CONCRETE OR ASPHALT OR FOR
ON-SITE CLARIFICATION OF REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO COMMENCING WORK. FAILURE TO DO SO
CAN RESULT IN REMOVAL OF ANY IMPROPERLY PLACED CONCRETE OR ASPHALT AT THE
EXPENSE OF THE OWNER OR CONTRACTOR,
15. REPAIR, REPLACE OR EXTEND EXISTING DAMAGED OR MISSING CURB AND GUTTER, SIDEWALK,
RAMPS OR CONCRETE DRIVEWAY APRONS WITHIN THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY ADJACENT TO THE
SITE. REMOVE ABANDONED DRIVEWAYS AND INSTALL CURB, GUTTER AND SIDEWALK. ALL WORK
WITHIN PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY SHALL CONFORM TO CITY STANDARDS AND THE ADA GUIDELINES.
16. ADDP,ESSES ARE REQUIRED TO BE POSTED IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE DURING CONSTRUCTION
AND WHEN CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETE AS PER LITTLE ROCK CITY ORDINANCE SECTION 30-346.
TRAFFIC NOTES:
1. PERMITS MUST BE OBTAINED PRIOR TO ANY WORK INVOLVING STREET CUTS OR CURB CUTS
AND A BARRICADE PERMIT MUST BE OBTAINED PRIOR TO ANY WORK IN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY. j
CONTACT TRAFFIC ENGINEERING AT (501) 379-1817 (TRAVIS HERBNER). "
2. ALL SIGNAGE, PAVEMENT MARKINGS AND PARKING LOT STRIPING SHALL CONFORM TO
REQUIREMENTS GIVEN IN THE MANUAL'OF UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES (MUTCD).
3. PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION, PROPERTY OWNER SHALL LOCATE AND PROTECT ANY TRAFFIC
CONTROL DEVICES (ABOVE AND/OR UNDER GROUND) LOCATED WITHIN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY.
OWNER W11 BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES TO SUCH DEVICES THAT OCCUR DUE TO
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY. OWNER SHALL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY RELOCATION OF
TRAFFIC ONTROL DEVICES DEEMED NECESSARY BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TRAFFIC
ENGINEERING DIVISION.
4. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT REMOVE OR ALTER IN ANYWAY, EXISTING TRAFFIC SIGNAGE OR
PAVEMENT MARKING WITHOUT PRIOR PERMISSION FROM THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TRAFFIC
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT. IF ANY SIGNAGE NEEDS TO BE RELOCATED, CONTACT TRAFFIC
ENGINEERING (GREG CLAY: 379-1811) FOR PRIOR INSPECTION AND APPROVAL. IF CONSTRUCTION
WORK IS GOING TO AFFECT ANY EXISTING SIGNAGE OR PAVEMENT MARKING, CONTRACTOR SHALL
USE APPROPRIATE TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES TO GUIDE MOTORISTS IN ACCORDANCE

UTILITY COMPANIES AND, WHERE POSSIBLE, OBSERVATIONS NOTED IN THE FIELD. THE
INFORMATION IS NOT TO BE RELIED ON AS BEING EXACT OR COMPLETE. THE CONTRACTOR
MUST CALL THE APPROPRIATE UTILITY COMPANY AND ARKANSAS ONE CALL (1.800482-8998) AT
