Due to the unusual shape of the lot, the proposed location is the most suitable since it will not be visible from Mohawk Circle and has the least impact on the other required setbacks. In addition, the rear lot line of this site is landscaped with shrubbery and vines which should help to provide screening and lessen the impact of the reduced setback. Staff feels that the proposal is reasonable and supports the requested variance. C. Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends approval of the requested rear yard setback variance. BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT: (OCTOBER 31, 1994) Don Johnson was present representing the applicant. There were no objectors present. Staff present the item and a recommendation of approval. Mr. Johnson offered no additional comments. A motion was made to approve the requested rear yard setback variance.
