We would like to voice our objections to the change and state that we would like the property to remain as C-3. At present there is a single family dwelling on the property so R-4 would not be a proper designation. Since there is a business on the lot next to us we are in a commercial zone. If the entire block would be zoned residential then we would willingly accept the change but since there are commercial buildings next door and at the corner on Arch we see no reason for the change and request that it be left as is. This review is being undertaken at the request of the Downtown Neighborhood Association. As a result of this review, the Staff has identified properties in the neighborhood which we feel should be changed to another zoning classification. Based on a review of the County Assessor's records, you own property located at 2405 Arch described as S45' of W95' of Lot 2 Blk 2 E.W. Gibbs. The City's records show this property to be zoned C-3 General Commercial; however, staff recommends R4 Two Family Residential. If you do not wish to have the zoning of your property (at the above location) reclassified, please write or call either Ron Newman, Planning Manager or Walter Malone, Planner II at the Department of Neighborhoods and Planning, 3714790. For additional questions or more information, also contact the staff members mentioned above. With your assistance, the City can amend the zoning pattern to help maintain and improve your neighborhood. This review is being undertaken at the request of the Downtown Neighborhood Association. As a result of this review, the Staff has identified properties in the neighborhood which we feel should be changed to another zoning classification. Based on a review of the County Assessor's records, you own property located at C-3 General Commercial and described as S 37 1/2' of Lot 4 and N 1/2 of Lot 5 Blk 4 Clark. The City's records show that your property is zoned C-3 General Commercial, although it may not actually be used that way.
