(JULY 5, 2001)
Fletcher Hanson was present, representing the application.
Staff briefly explained the proposed conditional use permit,
noting that no changes were proposed to the existing site
plan.
There being no technical/site design issues to discuss, the
Committee forwarded the application to the full Commission
for final action.
H. ANALYSIS:
As noted in paragraph A., the applicant is requesting a
conditional use permit to allow massage therapy as part of a
cosmetic/reconstructive surgery clinic. The massage therapy
will occupy approximately ten (10) percent (98 square feet)
of the medical office space (Suite 800). This conditional
use permit is only a use issue, as no changes are proposed
to the existing developed site.
Staff feels that the requested conditional use permit to
occupy 98 square feet of a cosmetic/reconstructive surgery
clinic for massage therapy is reasonable and should have no
adverse impact on the general area.
I. STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends approval of the conditional use permit
subject to compliance with the Public Works requirement, as
noted in paragraph D. of this report.
PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION:
(JULY 26, 2001)
Staff presented a positive recommendation on this application, as
there were no further issues for resolution. There were no
objectors to this matter present.
