3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 15,957 (APRIL 11,2023),
4 TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO MODIFY THE CONTRACT
5 WITH TETRA TECH, INC., FOR AN ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF ONE
6 HUNDRED SIXTY-ONE THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED TWELVE
7 DOLLARS ($161,212.00), FOR MONITORING SERVICES OF DEBRIS
8 COLLECTION RELATED TO DISASTER RECOVERY FROM THE
9 MARCH 31, 2023, TORNADO; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, Debris Monitoring Consultants provided proposals and pricing related to the March 31,
12 2023,Tornado Debris Monitoring Request for Proposals(RFP) Process, Bid No. 2106; and,
13 WHEREAS, pursuant to this RFP, the approved Selection Committee selected Tetra Tech, Inc., to
14 perform Tornado Debris Collection Monitoring Services;and,
15 WHEREAS, on April 11, 2023, the City Board of Directors adopted Resolution No. 15,957 to
16 authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Tetra Tech, Inc., in an amount not to exceed
17 Six Hundred Eight Thousand, Four Hundred Sixty-Five Dollars ($608,465.00), for the monitoring of
18 tornado debris collection; and,
19 WHEREAS, a Contract for Professional Services was executed April 17, 2023, between the City of
20 Little Rock and Tetra Tech, Inc., to provide for monitoring of tornado debris collection; and,
21 WHEREAS, the amended Tetra Tech, Inc., contract shall not exceed One Hundred Sixty-One
22 Thousand, Two Hundred Twelve Dollars ($161,212.00), and adds an additional thirty (30) calendar days
23 to the contract timeframe to September 14, 2023, for Tornado Debris Collection Monitoring Services, for
24 a total revised contract amount of Seven Hundred Sixty-Nine Thousand, Six Hundred Seventy-Seven
25 ($769,677.00).
26 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
27 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
28 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute an amendment to
29 the contract for Monitoring Services with Tetra Tech, Inc., in the amount of One Hundred Sixty-One
30 Thousand, Two Hundred Twelve Dollars ($161,212.00), and adds an additional thirty (30) calendar days
31 to the contract timeframe to September 14, 2023, for Tornado Debris Collection Monitoring Services, for
32 a total revised contract amount of Seven Hundred Sixty-Nine Thousand, Six Hundred Seventy-Seven
33 ($769,677.00).

1 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the Disaster Relief 2023 Tornado, Account No. S 100535
2 and FEMA Account No. 270409DF23I,as authorized by Resolution No. 15,957.
3 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
4 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
5 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
6 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
7 resolution.
8 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, including but not limited to Little Rock, Ark.
9 Resolution No. 15,957 (April 11, 2023), or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the provisions of
10 this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
