3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC., IN THE
5 TOTAL AMOUNT OF FIFTY-SEVEN THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED
6 SEVENTY-FIVE AND 51/100 DOLLARS ($57,575.51), PLUS APPLICABLE
7 TAXES AND FEES,FOR THE PURCHASE OF PORTABLE AND MOBILE
8 RADIO SYSTEMS FOR THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE DEPARTMENT; AND
9 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Fire Department is in need of Portable Radios and Mobile Radios for the
12 Little Rock Fire Department Response Vehicles; and,
13 WHEREAS, by utilizing the NASPO Value Point Contract No: 4600050253, the Little Rock Fire
14 Department can purchase one(1) Dual-Head Radio, four(4)Single-Head Radios, four(4) Portable Radios
15 and two(2)Mobile Radios, in an amount not to exceed Fifty-Seven Thousand, Five Hundred Seventy-Five
16 and 51/100 Dollars($57.575.51), plus applicable taxes and fees.
17 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to utilize the Arkansas State
20 Contract to enter into a contract with Motorola Solutions, Inc.,for the purchase of one(1)Dual-Head Radio,
21 four(4) Single-Head Radios, four(4) Portable Radios and two (2) Mobile Radios for the Little Rock Fire
22 Department Response Vehicles, in the total cost of Fifty-Seven Thousand, Five Hundred Seventy-Five and
23 51/100 Dollars($57.575.51), plus applicable taxes and fees.
24 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are through Act 833, Account No. 210519-S00B250, and Special
25 Project Account No. 1085 19-S51 C076.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
