Home My WebLink About16049 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,049 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH CISNEROS FAMILY CONSTRUCTION 5 CORPORATION, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SEVEN HUNDRED 6 SIXTY-ONE THOUSAND, ELEVEN AND 50/100 DOLLARS ($761,011.50), 7 FOR THE SENATE DRIVE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT; 8 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS, bids were solicited for the Senate Drive Drainage Improvement Project, Bid No. 2153; 11 and, 12 WHEREAS, it was determined that Cisneros Family Construction Corporation was the lowest 13 responsive, responsible bid meeting specifications out of three(3) bids received for the project. 14 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Cisneros Family 17 Construction Corporation, for the Senate Drive Drainage improvement Project, in an amount not to exceed 18 Seven Hundred Sixty-One Thousand, Eleven and 50/100 Dollars ($761,011.50), which is the base bid 19 amount of Six Hundred Thirty-Four Thousand, One Hundred Seventy-Six and 25/100 Dollars 20 ($634,176.25), plus 20%contingencies. 21 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the%-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating 22 Use Tax Funds and the Limited Tax General Obligation Capital Improvement Bonds as authorized by 23 Resolution No. 14,803. 24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 28 resolution. 29 Section 4. Repealer.
