Home My WebLink About16047 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,047 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH POSITIVE RESULTS LAWN SERVICES, 5 INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED FORTY-SIX 6 THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED FORTY DOLLARS ($146,640.00), FOR THE 7 PLEASANT TREE DRIVE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT; AND 8 FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS, bids were solicited for the Pleasant Tree Drive Drainage Improvement Project, Bid No. 11 2152;and, 12 WHEREAS, it was determined that Positive Results Lawn Services, Inc., was the lowest responsive, 13 responsible bid meeting specifications out of six(6) bids received for the project. 14 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Positive Results Lawn 17 Services, Inc., for the Pleasant Tree Drive Drainage Improvement Project, in an amount not to exceed One 18 Hundred Forty-Six Thousand, Six Hundred Forty Dollars($146,640.00), which is the base bid amount of 19 One Hundred Twenty-Two Thousand,Two Hundred Dollars($122,200.00),plus 20%contingencies. 20 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the %-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating 21 Use Tax Funds and the Limited Tax General Obligation Capital Improvement Bonds as authorized by 22 Resolution No. 14,803. 23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 27 resolution. 28 Section 4. Repealer.
