3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH CROMWELL ARCHITECTS ENGINEERS,
5 IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SIXTY-FOUR THOUSAND, EIGHT
6 HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($64,850.00), TO PROVIDE
7 ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE LAND-
8 FILL TRUCK WASHING PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the Fleet Services Division is in need of Architectural and Engineering Services for the
11 Landfill Truck Washing Project; and,
12 WHEREAS, the City issued a Request for Statements of Qualifications ("SOQ"), Bid No. 1627,
13 which created a qualified vendor list of firms capable of providing Architectural and Engineering Services
14 for the City of Little Rock; and,
15 WHEREAS, pursuant to this SOQ process, a Selection Committee determined that Cromwell
16 Architects Engineers was the most qualified firm on the vendor list to provide Architectural and
17 Engineering Services to the City for the Landfill Truck Washing Project for a total cost of the Project not
18 to exceed Sixty-Four Thousand, Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars, with funding available in the Fleet Mainte-
19 nance Account No. 600036-61010; and,
20 WHEREAS, reimbursable expenses from Cromwell Architects Engineers include Survey,
21 Geotechnical & Environmental Reports, for a total of Twenty-Two Thousand Dollars($22,000.00).
22 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
23 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
24 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Cromwell Architects
25 Engineering in an amount not to exceed Sixty-Four Thousand, Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars ($64,850.00),
26 to provide Architectural and Engineering Services to the City of Little Rock for the Landfill Truck Washing
27 Project.
28 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in the Fleet Maintenance, Account No. 600036-
29 61010.
30 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
31 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adju-
32 dication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect
33 as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the reso-
34 lution.

1 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
2 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
