There are no engineering issues to report.
B. Staff Analysis:
This applicant is before the Board requesting a variance in
order to replace a detached garage. Located on a corner
lot, the Ordinance requires for a detached structure that
fronts a side street to have a setback of fifteen (15) feet.
The applicant will provide a setback of zero (0) feet. The
existing garage is located on the property line with zero
setback. It is the intent of the applicant to place the new
garage in the exact same location with the same dimensions.
Staff found no problems with the applicant's request. The
older structure is in need of extensive repair. In the
opinion of the staff, the applicant has taken the best
approach toward making the structure kept sound and safe.
C. Staff Recommendation:
Staff recommends approval of the variance as filed.

BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT ACTION: (JUNE 29, 1992)
Don Perrymore represented the applicant. There were no objectors
in attendance. Mr. Perrymore stated that there were no problems
with staff's recommendation. A motion was made to approve
the variance as filed. The motion passed by a vote of 6 ayes,
0 noes, 2 absent and 1 open position.
