4 19,531 (MAY 2, 2006), TO ANNEX LOTS 57A, 57B AND 57C, BLOCK 2
5 OF TAYLOR PARK SUBDIVISON, PHASE III, AN ADDITION TO THE
6 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK MULTIPURPOSE PROPERTY OWNERS'
7 IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 27; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS,Ordinance No. 19, 531 was passed on May 2, 2006, which established the City of Little
10 Rock Municipal Multipurpose Property Owners' Improvement District No. 27; and,
11 WHEREAS, a petition to annex Lots 57A, 57B and 57C, Block 2 of Taylor Park Subdivision, Phase
12 III, an Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, into the City of Little Rock
13 Municipal Multipurpose Property Owners' Improvement District No. 27, has been filed with the Little
14 Rock City Clerk, and,
15 WHEREAS, the Mayor has set June 20, 2023, at 6:00 PM, or as soon afterwards as the item may be
16 reached on the regular call of the agenda, as the date and time for a Public Hearing before the Little Rock
17 Board of Directors for consideration of the petition; and,
18 WHEREAS,the Little Rock City Board of Directors has determined from an Abstractor's Certificate
19 of Property Ownership that those signing the petition constitute the additional owners of the real property
20 to be annexed into said District; and,
21 WHEREAS, it has been determined that the property owners of lots 57A, 57B and 57C of Block 2,
22 Taylor Park Subdivision, Phase III, an Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County Arkansas, have
23 approved the annexation of their properties into the City of Little Rock Municipal Multipurpose Property
24 Owners' Improvement District No. 27; and,
25 WHEREAS, Lots 57A, 57B and 57C, Block 2 of Taylor Park Subdivision, Phase III, an Addition to
26 the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, are contiguous and adjacent to the City of Little Rock
27 Municipal Multipurpose Property Owners' Improvement District No. 27; and,
28 WHEREAS, on September 27, 2022, the Board of Commissioners of Improvement District No. 27
29 approved by resolution the annexation of Lots 57A, 57B and 57C, Block 2 of Taylor Park Subdivision,
30 Phase III, an Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, into the City of Little Rock
31 Municipal Multipurpose Property Owners' Improvement District No. 27.
32 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
33 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:

1 Section 1. That Lots 57A, 57B, and 57C Block 2 of Taylor Park Subdivision, Phase III, an Addition
2 to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, are hereby annexed into the City of Little Rock
3 Municipal Multipurpose Property Owners' Improvement District No. 27.
4 Section 2. Severability. In the event any section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, subparagraph,
5 item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
6 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining provisions of this
7 ordinance,as if such invalid or unconstitutional provision was not originally a part of this ordinance.
8 Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances, resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this
9 ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
