Project Description with Conditions listed:
Removal of window air-conditioning units and installation of ductless mini -split units for
apartments 3 & 4.
1) Mechanical Units — Heating and Air units -
a) Exterior units will be placed at the rear of the building, away from street view, and be ground
mounted. The unit will not be wall mounted to exterior walls.
b) Supply/condensate lines will be located away from significant architectural features and not
readily visible from street view. Lines can be painted to reduce visibility.
c) When multiple units are installed on the same elevation, supply/condensate lines will be
consolidated.
2) Wood Windows
a) Repair wood windows where needed to an operating state following the removal of the window
air-conditioning units.
i. Replace sashes only when more than one member of the sash is rotten.
ii. Clean, repair, reglaze and repaint sashes and jambs.
iii. Replace cord and weights where needed.
