3 A RESOLUTION TO SET JULY 11, 2023, AS THE DATE OF HEARING
4 i ON THE REQUEST TO ABANDON THE EAST FIFTEEN (15) FEET OF
5 THE POLK STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY, LOCATED ADJACENT TO LOT
6 7, BLOCK 20, NEWTON'S ADDITION IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
7 ARKANSAS (G-23-488); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
1 abandon the east fifteen (15) feet of the Polk Street right-of-way (fifteen (15) feet by 140 feet), located
1 adjacent to Lot 7, Block 20,Newton's Addition located adjacent to 5423 Country Club Boulevard, in the
1 City of Little Rock,Arkansas.
13 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
1L OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS.
15 Section 1.The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above-mentioned right-of-way shall be held at
16 a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Centre at University Park, 6401 West
17 12th Street,Little Rock,Arkansas at six o'clock on July 11,2023.
18 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
19 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
2I) County,Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
21 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
2 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
2 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
26 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
27 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
