3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH JERRY PATE TURF & IRRIGATION,IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED TWO THOUSAND,SEVEN
6 HUNDRED EIGHTY-THREE AND 91/100 DOLLARS ($102,783.91), PLUS
7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1)
8 TORO GREENSMASTER TRIFLEX 3400 FOR THE PARKS &
9 RECREATION DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

1 1 WHEREAS,the Parks & Recreation Department has demonstrated a need to purchase one(1)Toro
12 Greensmaster Triflex 3400,to replace an older unit that is no longer operational,and is vital in the effort to
13 be efficient in keeping the golf courses in a playable condition; and,
14 WHEREAS,vendor selection was made using Sourcewell Contract No. 031221-TTC;and,
15 WHEREAS,the total purchase price for one(1)Toro Greensmaster Triflex 3400 shall not to exceed
16 One Hundred Two Thousand, Seven Hundred Eighty-Three and 91/100 Dollars ($102,783.91), plus
17 applicable taxes and fees.
18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement Jerry Pate Turf&Irrigation,for
21 the purchase of one (1) Toro Greensmaster Triflex 3400, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Two
22 Thousand, Seven Hundred Eighty-Three and 91/100 Dollars($102,783.91),plus applicable taxes and fees
23 to be used by the Parks&Recreation Department.
24 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in Parks& Recreation, Account No. 108459-72200-
25 S45C463.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
