HomeMy WebLinkAbout16028 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,028 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH DEERE& COMPANY, IN AN AMOUNT NOT 5 TO EXCEED NINETY-ONE THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED THIRTY- 6 TWO AND 84/100 DOLLARS ($91,332.84), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES 7 AND FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) JOHN DEERE MODEL 8 5090E CAB TRACTOR WITH BUCKET AND FLEX WING BUSHHOG 9 FOR THE PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER 10 PURPOSES. 11 12 WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Department has demonstrated a need to purchase one (1) John 13 Deere Model 5090E Cab Tractor with Bucket& Flex Wing Bushhog,to replace an aged,high maintenance 14 unit currently in use; and, 15 WHEREAS,vendor selection was made using Sourcewell Contract No. PA 4600046128(PG OC CG 16 22); and, 17 WHEREAS, the total purchase price for one (I) John Deere Model 5090E Cab Tractor with Bucket 18 & Flex Wing Bushhog shall not to exceed Ninety-One Thousand, Three Hundred Thirty-Two Dollars and 19 84/100 Dollars($91,332.84), plus applicable taxes and fees. 20 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 21 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 22 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Deere&Company,for the 23 purchase of one(1)John Deere Model 5090E Cab Tractor with Bucket&Flex Wing Bushhog,ill an amount 24 not to exceed Ninety-One Thousand,Three Hundred Thirty-Two Dollars and 84/100 Dollars($91,332.84), 25 plus applicable taxes and fees,to be used by the Parks& Recreation Department. 26 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in Parks & Recreation 2022A Bond, Account No. 27 332459-72200-B45D015. 28 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 29 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 30 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 31 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 32 resolution. 33 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with 34 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
