Dear Property Owner,
This letter is to follow-up a letter you should have received dated March 31, 2023. The
Master Street Plan (MSP) amendment to remove Old Oak Drive/Black Road and to add
Shepard Drive/Russ Street is to modify the City's Plan so that the protentional future
connection to Cantrell Road (Highway 10) will be further to the east. This would be
done when the land between Pankey Addition and Secluded Hills Subdivision is
developed by a private entity. There is no public project proposed to change the
current roads in the developed subdivisions.
A Public Hearing to consider this change has been scheduled for May 11 at 4 PM
before the Little Rock Planning Commission. The Commission meeting takes place at
the Centre at University Park, 6401 West 12th Street. You are welcome to attend the
public hearing and make comment on the proposed change and/or send written
comments to the Planning & Development Department. If you have comments, please
send written comments to the letterhead address by May 1, 2023. Thank you for your
time and consideration of this matter.
