WHEREAS, the neighborhood association requested as re- examination of the area's zoning with an eye to reduce the intensity; and, WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock wishes to preserve and protect the home owner -occupied character of Hillcrest; and, WHEREAS, the City of-Little;•Rock wishes for the zoning to agree with the adopted land use plan for the area; and, WHEREAS, the existing use of the properties-in.question is generally less than the current zoning; and, WHEREAS, the Staff met with affected property owners and the neighborhood at -large about the rezoning; and, WHEREAS, any and all property owners wishing not to have their property reclassified have been removed; and, WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission recommends the suggested reclassifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE Tm ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LIT^'�r ROCK, ARKANSAS.
