ORDINANCE NC. 16,010
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING s:',RIOUS PROPERTIES
LOCATED IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FROM YJ1,RKHAM
STREET TO EVERGREEN/LOOKOUT AND VAN BUREN TO THE
STATE SCHOOL FOR THE BLIND, AMENDING SECTION 36 OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
AND FOR OTHER MATTERS.
WHEREAS, the neighborhood association requested as re-
examination of the area's zoning with an eye to reduce the
intensity; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock wishes to preserve and
protect the home owner -occupied character of Hillcrest; and,
WHEREAS, the City of-Little;•Rock wishes for the zoning
to agree with the adopted land use plan for the area; and,
WHEREAS, the existing use of the properties-in.question
is generally less than the current zoning; and,
WHEREAS, the Staff met with affected property owners
and the neighborhood at -large about the rezoning; and,
WHEREAS, any and all property owners wishing not to
have their property reclassified have been removed; and,
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission recommends
the suggested reclassifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE Tm ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LIT^'�r ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTIONIThe zone classification o' the following
properties be and is hereby changed from "Fc -4" Duple: tc "r-

SECTION B. That the map referred to in Section 36 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock and
designated district map be and is hereby amended to the
extent and in the respects necessary to affect and designate
the changes provided in Sections 1-7 hereof.
