3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF
4 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, TO CONVEY APPROXIMATELY FIVE (5)
5 ACRES OF LAND TO THE LITTLE ROCK WATER RECLAMATION
6 AUTHORITY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A WASTEWATER LIFT
7 STATION,AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Port Authority markets land for economic development purposes and has
10 been expanding to the south in order to attract additional industry;and,
11 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Port Authority, working with the Little Rock Regional Chamber of
12 Commerce and the Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority, recognized a need for additional
13 infrastructure, including, but not limited to a Wastewater Lift Station;and,
14 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority has already committed a One Million
15 Dollars ($1,000,000.00) towards this project and has asked the Little Rock Port Authority to donate the
16 lands for the infrastructure;and,
17 WHEREAS, Little Rock Port Authority Staff has identified a five (5)-acre parcel just south of the
18 TREX Project that has little,or no,value for manufacturing or distribution purposes.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
20 LITTLE ROCK PORT AUTHORITY:
21 Section 1.The Little Rock City Board of Directors authorizes the Mayor to convey approximately five
22 (5)acres of land to the Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority for the construction of a wastewater lift
23 station.
24 A tract of land in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 28, Township 1 North, Range 11 West in Pulaski
25 County,Arkansas, more particularly described as follows: commencing at the northeast corner of
26 said Southeast 1/4 of Section 28, thence along the north line North 88°33'04" West a distance of
27 1,317.48 feet to a found 5/8-inch rod, said point being the Point of Beginning; thence continuing
28 along said north line North 88°35'05" West a distance of 427.47 feet;thence leaving the said north
29 line South 01°27'34" West a distance of 150.16 feet;thence with a curve turning to the left with an
30 arc length of 292.94 feet, with a radius of 455.00 feet, with a chord bearing of South 16°59'04"
31 East, with a chord length of 287.90 feet; thence South 35°25'42" East a distance of 526.11 feet;
32 thence with a curve turning to the right with an arc length of 33.88 feet, with a radius of 545.00
33 feet,with a chord bearing of South 33°38'50" East,with a chord length of 33.87 feet to the east line

1 of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4; thence along said east line North 01°31'56" East a
2 distance of 872.10 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 5.69 acres(247,995.25 square-feet),
3 more or less.
4 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
5 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
6 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
7 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
8 resolution.
9 Section 3. Repealer.All laws ordinances resolutions or parts of the same that are inconsistent with the
10 provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
