3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH CRAFTON TULL & ASSOCIATES, INC.,
5 IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SIXTY-E I G H'1' '1'HOUSAND,
6 FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($68,500.00), FOR DESIGN SERVICES FOR
7 IMPROVEMENTS TO THE WEST CENTRAL BALLFIELD COMPLEX;
8 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the West Central Ballfield Complex was originally name Rosedale Park and managed by
11 The Optimist Club, who donated the property to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;and,
12 WHEREAS, the existing ballfield complex is showing signs of deterioration and needs significant
13 improvements; and,
14 WHEREAS,Crafton Tull & Associates, Inc., was selected from the Statements of Qualifications for
15 Architectural Design Services, Bid No. 1627,to provide services for project;and,
16 WHEREAS,Crafton Tull&Associates, Inc.,will provide an overall Masterplan of the existing sports
17 facility and will focus on the largest existing field for full renovations as the main construction project;and,
18 WHEREAS,the total cost of the project shall not exceed Sixty-Eight Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars
19 ($68,500.00), with funding is available through the interest accrued from the American Rescue Plan Act,
20 Account No. 271129-G21 AR0012.
21 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
22 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
23 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized into enter into an agreement with Crafton Tull &
24 Associates,Inc., in an amount not to exceed Sixty-Eight Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars($68,550.00), to
25 provide Design Services and improvements to the West Central Ballfield Complex.
26 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available through the interest accrued from the American
27 Rescue Plan Act, Account No. 271129-G21 AR0012.
28 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of
29 this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication
30 shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the
31 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
32 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, which are inconsistent
33 with the provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
