2 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO TOWNSHIP
3 BUILDERS, INC. FOR MABELVALE CUTOFF (CHICOT TO
4 FAIRWOOD) AHTD JOB NO. 060969 (LR)(S) F.A.P. STPU- 9253(32)
5 CONSTRUCTION PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
6 WHEREAS, bids were solicited for the street reconstruction improvements
7 Mabelvale Cutoff (Chicot to Fairwood) AHTD Job No. 060969 Bid No.06 -237; and
8 WHEREAS, Township Builders, Inc. submitted the lowest responsible and
9 responsive bid, in the amount of $3,857,706.60 ($3,507,006.00 plus 10% contingencies).
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
11 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
12 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
13 Township Builders, Inc. for street reconstruction Mabelvale Cutoff (Chicot to Fairwood)
14 AHTD Job No. 060969, Bid No.06 -237.
15 Section 2. Funds are available for Mabelvale Cutoff, City share account 304 -220-
16 Z022 and Federal share account 700 - 220 -Y044. This construction project will be at the
17 following federal participating ratios: Federal Share 80% - City Match 20 %.
18 Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
19 of its adoption.
