It appears that the area will drain to multiple points which could result in multiple connections to our sewer system. Until we see where they plan to connect and their anticipated flows, we cannot determine whether an upsizing of the system is needed. The developer’s engineer will be responsible for designing the tract’s sewer system and providing the cost estimate. Please let me know if you have any questions. This annexation will be developed single-family but we do not know the number of units. There has not been any development plan or subdivision plat submitted for development of the land, but it is zoned R-2, single-family. If it is developed similar to most areas of west Little Rock, it could have around 500 units. LRWRA has no objection to the annexation, as we have no assets in the area. In addition, the responsibility (and cost) of providing sewer to the new area will fall upon the developer/owner of the land. Please let me know if you have any questions.
