RE: 100% Voluntary Annexation of 179 acres
Pinewood Land Company, LLC and SJS Family, LLC
Dear Walter:
I represent Pinewood Land Company, LLC and SJS Family, LLC in their
petition to annex 179 acres they own in west Pulaski County into the city of Little
Rock proper. This annexation is brought under Ark. Code Ann. § 14-40-609 by
100% of the properly owners.
I am attaching the petition I filed in the office of the county clerk of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, which contains a map depicting the lands to be
annexed, a full and complete legal description of the lands to be annexed and an
engineer's affidavit confirming the legal description and confirming that the lands
are contiguous to existing city limits and that the proposed annexation does not
create any enclaves. I have attached a schedule of city services anticipated to be
required at the site. The property is currently wooded and no preliminary plat has
been submitted at this time. The owners will likely begin the process of platting
and developing the property within the 12 months following the annexation.
