and a 24' by 24' playground) on one lot (0.16 +/- acres)
that is zoned "R-2.11

Adjacent to a residential street (St. Thomas Court).

The proposed park is a very low key affair. The site
is abutted by single family on three sides and vacant
land located to the south. The Staff perceives no
adverse impact on the surrounding area.
3. On Site Drives and Parkincl
No on-site parking or vehicular access is proposed.
4. Screening _.and Buffers
The plan contains landscaping and a four feet (height)
chain link fence that encompasses the site.
5. Analysis
The Staff feels that the proposed use is compatible
with the surrounding area. The applicant does need to
submit a revised Site Plan showing the adjacent street
name as St. Thomas Court rather than St. Thomas Circle.
(Street signs in the field say St. Thomas Court).

The Applicant was present and agreed to comply with Staff
recommendations.
PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: (August 23, 1988)
The Applicant was present. There were no objectors. The
Commission voted 8 ayes, 0 noes, 2 absent and 1 open
position to approve the application as recommended by the
Staff, reviewed by the Subdivision Committee, and agreed to
by the Applicant, subject to the Applicant contacting
Southwestern Bell about an easement an the south property
line.
