3 A RESOLUTION TO IDENTIFY EXPENDITURES CITY-WIDE FOR
4 CAPITAL PROJECTS FUNDED FROM THE PROCEEDS OF THE 2022
5 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS FOR PARKS & RECREATION AND
6 THE LITTLE ROCK ZOO; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the electors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas approved the issuance of Capital
9 Improvement Bonds for Parks and Zoo Improvements in order to accomplish the public purposes set forth
10 in Ordinance 22,192, which was adopted on November 15,2022; and,
11 WHEREAS, it is desirable to fund the identified 2023, 2024 and 2025 projects from the 2022 Capital
12 Improvement Bonds for Parks and Zoo City-wide.
13 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The Board of Directors intends to accomplish the following list of Park Improvement
16 Projects City-wide with approximately Five Million, Fifty-Three Thousand,Nine Hundred Ninety-Seven
17 Dollars($5,053,997.13):
18 a) Boyle Park Playground and other improvements.
19 b) Pankey Park Playground and other improvements.
20 c) Kiwanis Park Playground and other improvements.
21 d) Neighborhood Parks Site Amenities and other improvements.
22 e) Jim Dailey Fitness&Aquatics Center Indoor and Outdoor Pool improvements.
23 f) River Market and Riverfront Park improvements.
24 g) Trail infrastructure improvements in various parks.
25 h) Fleet vehicles for Park operations.
26 Section 2. The Board of Directors intends to accomplish the following list of Zoo Improvement
27 Projects with approximately Five Million, Fifty-Three Thousand, Nine Hundred Ninety-Seven Dollars
28 ($5,053,997.12):
29 a) Amphitheater upgrade and other improvements.
30 b) Ambassador Animal holding and other improvements.
31 c) Animal Exhibit upgrades and other improvements.
32 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
33 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
34 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and

1 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
2 resolution.
3 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
4 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
