3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH CRAFTON TULL & ASSOCIATES, INC., IN
5 AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE
6 THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY DOLLARS ($255,270.00), FOR
7 THE DESIGN OF THE SOUTHWEST TRAIL INTERCHANGE PROJECT;
8 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

10 WHEREAS,the City of Little Roc, Arkansas,received the notice of award of a Federal Lands Access
11 Project (FLAP) Grant AR26, to construct trail improvements consisting of a connection of the proposed
12 Southwest Trail to the Arkansas River Trail at the Baring Cross Railroad Bridge; and,
13 WHEREAS, Crafton Tull & Associates, Inc., was selected under an Annual Statement of
14 Qualifications process, Bid No. 1625, for Engineering Consultant Services to design the Southwest Trail
15 Interchange Improvements.
16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Crafton Tull &
19 Associates, Inc., for Engineering Consultant Services in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Fifty-Five
20 Thousand,Two Hundred Seventy Dollars($255,270.00),for the design of the Southwest Trail Interchange
21 Project.
22 Section 2. Funding for the project is from the Federal Lands Access Project Grant(80%)and the Street
23 Fund Special Project(20%), Account No. S40G621.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
