3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH RUSH TRUCK CENTER OF ARKANSAS, IN
5 AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FOUR HUNDRED THIRTY THOUSAND
6 DOLLARS ($430,000.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR
7 THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) 2024 INTERNATIONAL MODEL HV513
8 6X4 CHASSIS TRUCKS WITH DUMP BEDS AND SNOW CONTROL,FOR
9 THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT STREET OPERATIONS
10 DIVSION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department Street Operations Division has demonstrated a need to
13 purchase two (2) 2024 International Model HV513 6x4 Chassis Trucks with Dump Beds and Snow
14 Controls,to replace aged, high maintenance units currently in use; and,
15 WHEREAS, vendor selection was made available through Arkansas Department of Transportation
16 Contract No. H-23-240; and,
17 WHEREAS,the total purchase price for two(2)2024 International Model HV513 6x4 Chassis Trucks
18 with Dump Beds and Snow Controls shall not to exceed Four Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars
19 ($430,000.00), plus applicable taxes and fees.
20 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
21 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
22 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Rush Truck Center of
23 Arkansas, for the purchase of two (2) 2024 International Model HV513 6x4 Chassis Trucks with Dump
24 Beds and Snow Controls shall not to exceed Four Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($430,000.00), plus
25 applicable taxes and fees,to be used by the Public Works Department Street Operations Division.
26 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in the 2023 Public Works Street Department
27 Replacement Fund Account No. 205409-72300-S40B660.
28 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
29 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
30 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
31 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
32 resolution.
33 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
34 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
