3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH TYMCO, INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
5 EXCEED THREE HUNDRED EIGHT THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED
6 FORTY DOLLARS($308,340.00),PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES,
7 FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) TYMCO MODEL 600
8 REGENERATIVE AIR SWEEPER FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
9 DEPARTMENT STREET OPERATIONS DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER
10 PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department Street Operations Division has demonstrated a need to
13 purchase one(1)TYMCO Model 600 Regenerative Air Sweeper, to replace aged, high maintenance units
14 currently in use;and,
15 WHEREAS, vendor selection was made available through the Houston Galveston Area Council
16 (HGAC)Cooperative Purchasing Agreement Contract No. SW04-20; and,
17 WHEREAS,the total purchase price for one(1)TYMCO Model 600 Regenerative Air Sweeper
18 shall not to exceed Three Hundred Eight Thousand, Three Hundred Forty Dollars ($308,340.00), plus
19 applicable taxes and fees.
20 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
21 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
22 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with TYMCO, Inc., for the
23 purchase of one (1) TYMCO Model 600 Regenerative Air Sweeper, in an amount not to exceed Three
24 Hundred Eight Thousand, Three Hundred FortyDollars $308 340.00plus applicable taxes and fees, to

25 be used by the Public Works Department Street Operations Division.
26 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in the Public Works 2023 Special Projects,Account
27 No. 205409-72300-S40B660.
28 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
29 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
30 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
31 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
32 resolution.
33 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
34 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
