HomeMy WebLinkAbout15952 1 RESOLUTION NO. 15,952 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH SHI INTERNATIONAL, INC., IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED TWENTY THOUSAND 6 DOLLARS ($120,000.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, TO 7 PROVIDE WEB-BASED FIRE AND EMS INCIDENT REPORTING AND A 8 RECORDS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE 9 DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Fire Department (LRFD) has determined it is necessary to upgrade the 12 Records Management System to assure use of advanced technology and to meet accreditation requirements; 13 and, 14 WHEREAS, LRFD requests an Agreement with SHI International, Inc., to provide web-based Fire 15 and EMS Incident Reporting and Records Management System for a term of two(2)years at a total cost 16 not to exceed One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars($120,000.00),plus applicable taxes and fees;and, 17 WHEREAS, Vendor selection was made through NASPO Value Point Agreement No. ADSP016- 18 130651. 19 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 21 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with SHI International, Inc., in an 22 amount not to exceed One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($120,000.00), plus applicable taxes and 23 fees,to provide a web-based Fire and EMS Incident Reporting and Record Management System for a term 24 of two(2)years. 25 Section 2. Funds for this agreement will come from Act 833 Funds, Account No. 210519-S00B250 26 provided to the City of Little Rock for the Little Rock Fire Department. 27 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 31 resolution. 32 Section 7. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with 33 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
