HomeMy WebLinkAbout15951 RESOLUTION NO. 15,951 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH PRECISION DELTA CORPORATION, IN 5 THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED FIFTY-EIGHT THOUSAND, 6 FOUR HUNDRED NINETY AND 80/100 DOLLARS ($158,490.80), PLUS 7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE BULK PURCHASE OF 8 PRACTICE AND DUTY AMMUNITION FOR THE LITTLE ROCK 9 POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS,it is critical that the Little Rock Police Department be equipped and trained with reliable 12 tools and equipment; and, 13 WHEREAS,the bulk purchase of the four(4)types of ammunition utilized by the Little Rock Police 14 Department will support the Practice and Duty Ammunition requirements for the In-Service Training, 15 Annual Pistol and Rifle Qualifications, Traditional Recruit Schools, along with Remedial and Specialized 16 Firearms Training; and, 17 WHEREAS, Vendor selection of Precision Delta Corporation, was made through Arkansas State 18 Contract No. S000000047/Outline Agreement 4600050105. 19 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 21 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Precision Delta Corporation 22 for the bulk purchase four(4)types of Practice and Duty ammunition utilized by the Little Rock Police and 23 to support Firearms Training for 2023,in the amount of One Hundred Fifty-Eight Thousand,Four Hundred 24 Ninety 80/100 Dollars($158,490.80),plus applicable taxes and fees. 25 Section 2. Funding for this purchase is available from the Little Rock Police Department's General 26 Account No. 105220-60050. 27 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 31 resolution. 32 Section 4. Repealer.
