11. Objectors: Approximately 50 objectors were present at
the two hearings, June 24 and July 8. Their objections
to the rezoning included establishing undesirable
precedent for the area, a threat to the viability of
the neighborhood, being in conflict with adopted land
use plans and no real demand for additional commercial
property.
