GENERAL 1) DESIGNS OF ANTENNA, COAX -CABLE, EQUIPMENT INSTALLATIONS SHALL COMPLY WITH TIA/EIA-222-F-1996 STRUCTURAL STANDARDS FOR STEEL ANTENNA TOWERS AND ANTENNA SUPPORT STRUCTURES. THE BASIC WIND SPEED FOR DESIGN IS 70 MPH. ICE THICKNESS IS 1/2 INCH. 2) THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS & EXISTING CONDITIONS AND NOTIFY THE OWNER OF ANY DISCREPANCIES PRIOR TO ORDERING MATERIALS OR PROCEEDING WITH CONSTRUCTION. ALL EXPOSED FASTENERS, NUTS AND WASHERS SHALL BE GALVANIZED UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. CONCRETE EXPANSION ANCHORS SHALL BE HILTI KWIK BOLTS UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. 4) WELDING SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH AMERICAN WELDING SOCIETY (AWS) D.1.1-92. STRUCTURAL WELDING CODE -STEEL WELD ELECTRONICS SHALL BE E70XX. C.
