Re: Bein House
1302 Cumberland Street
Little Rock, AR
PU 2911
To whom it may concern:
am writing to follow up on our email correspondence regarding the scope of work for the Bein House in Little Rock.
The AHPP holds a perpetual preservation easement on this property which makes us a partner in preservation
decisions concerning alterations to this site. From reviewing the submitted applications pertaining to tree removal,
new signage, and the brick sidewalk and our email correspondence, it has been determined that the work as proposed
falls under the Secretary of the Interior Standards as required per the easement. I give authorization under the terms of
the easement for work as called out in the attached documents. This letter serves as formal confirmation of that
approval for your records.
Thank you for being a good steward of this important historic resource and letting us partner with you in its
preservation. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at katherine.nash@arkarnsas.gov or
501-683-6672.
Sincerely,
Katherine Nash
