3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
4 A CONTRACT WITH JAY STANLEY & ASSOCIATES, IN AN AMOUNT
5 NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-THREE THOUSAND,
6 THREE HUNDRED FORTY-TWO AND 48/100 DOLLARS ($173,342.48),
7 PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR AUDIO-VISUAL
8 EQUIPMENT, SUPPLIES, SERVICES AND INSTALLATION FOR THE
9 RENOVATION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS CHAMBERS AT
10 LITTLE ROCK CITY HALL; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS,as part of the Little Rock City Hall Board of Directors Chambers Renovation,the Audio-
13 Visual Equipment, Supplies and Services are being updated by `JSA' Jay Stanley&Associates;and,
14 WHEREAS, vendor selection was made through The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS USA)
15 Member Agency Contract No. 200904; and,
16 WHEREAS,the total cost for the Audio-Visual Equipment, Supplies, Services and Installation is One
17 Hundred Seventy-Three Thousand, Three Hundred Forty-Two and 48/100 Dollars ($173,342.48), plus
18 applicable taxes and fees, with funding in the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) available
19 from Account No. 271309-G0601AR30C and the remaining balance from Account No. 108129-S00T456
20 and Account No.210129-S00A363.
21 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
22 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
23 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with `JSA'Jay Stanley&Associates
24 for the purchase the City of Little Rock Boardroom Audio-Visual Equipment, Supplies, Services and
25 Installation in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Seventy-Three Thousand,Three Hundred Forty-Two
26 and 48/100 Dollars($173,342.48),plus applicable taxes and fees.
27 Section 2. Funding is available in the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars($50,000.00)available from
28 Account No. 271309-G0601AR30C and the remaining balance from Account No. 108129-S00T456 and
29 Account No. 210129-S00A363.
30 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
31 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
32 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
33 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the

1 resolution.
2 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
3 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency
