3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH VERMEER MID-SOUTH, IN AN ANNUAL
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS
6 ($200,000.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE
7 PURCHASE OF VERMEER PARTS AND SERVICE FOR THE FLEET
8 SERVICES DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,it is critical that the Fleet Services Department("Fleet")be equipped with reliable heavy
11 equipment parts and service tools for minor repairs and maintenance on equipment currently in the City's
12 Fleet;and,
13 WHEREAS,vendor selection was made through utilization of Sourcewell Contract No.050119-V RM;
14 and,
15 WHEREAS,the Annual Purchase Order is for a one(1)-year term with two(2),one(1)-year renewal
16 options; and,
17 WHEREAS,the Annual Budget for each one(1)-year term is not to exceed Two Hundred Thousand
18 Dollars($200,000.00), plus applicable taxes and fees.
19 NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
21 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorize the City Manager to enter into a one (1)-year
22 contract with not more than two (2), one (1)-year renewal extensions with Vermeer Mid-South, for the
23 purchase of Vermeer Parts and Service, for an annual purchase amount not to exceed Two Hundred
24 Thousand Dollars($200,000.00), plus applicable taxes and fees.
25 Section 2. The funding for the Annual Purchase Order is available in the various Fleet Maintenance
26 and Parts Account No. 600013-60130.
27 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
28 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
31 ordinance.
32 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
33 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
