3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH REDSTONE CONSTRUCTION GROUP,
5 INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED NINETY-
6 SEVEN THOUSAND, EIGHTEEN DOLLARS ($297,018.00), FOR THE
7 LANDFILL FLEET SHOP PARKING IMPROVEMENTS; AND FOR
8 OTHER PURPOSES

10 'WHEREAS,bids were solicited for Fleet Shop Parking Improvements at the City Solid Waste Facility,
11 Bid No. 1934; and,
12 WHEREAS, Redstone Construction Group, Inc., delivered the lowest responsive, responsible bid
13 meeting specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Redstone Construction
17 Group, Inc., for Fleet Shop Parking Improvements at Little Rock Solid Waste Facility in an amount not to
18 exceed Two Hundred Ninety-Seven Thousand, Eighteen Dollars ($297,018.00), which is the base bid
19 amount of Two Hundred Forty-Seven Thousand, Five Hundred Fifteen Dollars ($247,515.00), plus 20%
20 contingencies.
21 Section 2. Funding for this project is from Landfill Fleet Services, Account No. 600099-61040-
22 S60A720.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
29 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
