3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC., IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTY THOUSAND,
6 EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY-SIX AND 96/100 DOLLARS($770,856.96),PLUS
7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF 107 RADIO
8 SYSTEMS FOR THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR
9 OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Police Department is need of new radios to be installed in 107 of the
12 newly-purchased vehicles
13 WHEREAS, by utilizing the Sourcewell Contract No. 042021-MOT, the Little Rock Police
14 Department can purchase those radios for total cost not to exceed Seven Hundred Seventy Thousand, Eight
15 Hundred Fifty-Six and 96/100 Dollars(770,856.96), plus applicable taxes and fees.
16 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to utilize the Sourcewell
19 Contract No.042021-MOT to enter into a contract with Motorola Solutions, Inc.,for the purchase of radios
20 to be installed in 107 of the newly-purchased vehicles for the Little Rock Police Department for a total cost
21 not to exceed Seven Hundred Seventy Thousand,Eight Hundred Fifty-Six and 96/100 Dollars(770,856.96),
22 plus applicable taxes and fees.
23 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Police Short-Term Financing Account No.
24 325529-72300-F452001.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
31 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
