Zoning in the area is R-3, R-4, R-5, 0-3, C-1, C-3, I-2 and I-3. The existing land use is made up of single family, churches, commercial, industrial and St. Francis House. The existing uses found along Asher Avenue are a combination of commercial and industrial. Single family residences are found north of West 29th and the industrial uses are concentrated primarily south of Asher Avenue. Throughout the neighborhood, there are also vacant lots.
