This is to inform you that the City of Little Rock has completed the annexation of the area
commonly called "Crystal Valley Trails Annexation A-342". As a result of Ordinance 22229
some 169 acres plus or minus in size will become part of the City of Little Rock as of February
24, 2023. Please take all necessary actions to assure that the area receives city services.
Attached you should find a copy of Ordinance 22229 and map. The area requesting annexation
is some 168.9 acres plus or minus in size, alone the northside of Crystal Valley Road, north of
Colonel Carl Miller Road. (This is generally the 15200-15400 blocks of Crystal Valley Road).

AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE CRYSTAL VALLEY TRAILS
ANNEXATION (A-342), TO ADD CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY 0 " �° o
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. ks .
WHEREAS, a petition for voluntary annexation (the "Petition") was filed with the County Cl k,#f,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, for 100% owner praying that said lands be annexed to and made part of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, found that the Petition was correct as to
form as required of Arkansas Code 14-40-609; and,
WHEREAS, on September 16, 2022, the Pulaski County Judge has signed an Annexation Order for
the site requesting annexation; and,
WHEREAS, an accurate map of said lands has been filed with and made a part of said Petition; and,
WHEREAS, all things pertaining thereto have been done in the manner prescribed by law and that said
lands should be annexed to and made part of the City of Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The following described territory contiguous and adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
is accepted as annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, to wit:

PART OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 29 AND THE
SOUTHEAST QUARTER AND THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 30,
TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST, IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS,
BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCING
AT A POINT LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SECTION 30,
T-1-N, R-13-W, SAID POINT ALSO BEING THE POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE N88042'40"W ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID SECTION 30, A
DISTANCE OF 1313.34' TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE SE1/4 SE1/4
OF SAID SECTION 30; THENCE ALONG THE WEST LINE OF THE EAST

13 BEGINNING. CONTAINING 168.8946 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, INCLUDING
14 ALL ADJACENT STREETS AND RIGHTS -OF -WAY.
15 Section 2. The City of Little Rock shall provide Police and Fire protection; and upon approval by the
16 respective utility allow the property owners within the annexation to extend service lines to the Little Rock
17 Water Reclamation System and Central Arkansas Water System from the effective date of the annexation.
18 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
19 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
20 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
21 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
22 ordinance.
23 Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances or resolutions of the City in conflict herewith are hereby repealed
24 to the extent of such conflict.
