We are seeking approval of the enclosed plans for a remodel and change in use to allow self-
storage across entire site within the 6 existing single-story buildings. The two West most building
already contain self-storage. There will be no site modifications. All fencing, landscaping, gates
will remain existing. There is a proposed signage wall on the South end of the building facing
John Barrow Rd. approximately 16’ high indicating office space entry as well as signage. All
storage doors located on the exterior of the building will utilize existing openings. The first two
buildings that have storefront along the entire elevations that will remain in place and an interior
hall will be added to allow circulation around the interior to access the storage. The façade
facing John Barrow will remain existing and building will be painted.
The preliminary site plan is attached showing the existing locations of the various buildings on the
site. Building sizes and locations will remain existing with no alterations to square footage. This
property (Zoned C-3) abuts John Barrow Road to the East, residential lots to the North (zoned R-
2), office lots to the West (zoned O-3) as well as commercial lots to the to the South (zoned C-4).
We have contacted the Pulaski County Clerk’s office and requested a Bill of Assurance. The Bill
of Assurance is attached within Packet.
