Dear Mr. Russell,
Your application HDC2022-026 for new construction, at 1003 McMath will be heard
before the Historic District Commission on January 5, 2023. The hearing will be held in
the Auditorium Room at the Willie Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center, 3805 W 12 th
Street, Little Rock. The meeting will begin at 4:00 p.m.
Your application will be item one on the agenda. The owner or their agent must be
present in order for the item to be heard.
Please follow directions exactly when giving ten days’ notice to all property owners as
stated in the application on page 3 instructions #6 and #7. Use “HDC2022-026” to
complete your mailing labels as shown in the instructions. Additionally, please put the
correct public hearing location and date on your public notice letters.
The application form states that “A description of materials for all exterior surfaces listed
above shall be provided to Staff at time of filing. Web site addresses are appropriate but
cut sheets of individual materials are preferred.” The following information will need to
be submitted to Staff by Friday, December 19th to complete your filing. If you are not
including any of the items below, please respond with “not applicable”.
Walls: Your exterior elevations state, “solid or panelized exterior finish” and “fiber
cement siding”. Please state model number of siding, size, and finish. Also, state size,
material, finish, and model number of any trim boards around doors and windows.
Siding and trim boards need to be shown on the drawings.
Windows: Specify brand, model number, finish, and size for all windows.
Doors: Specify brand, model number, finish, and size for all exterior doors.
Roof: Provide pitch of all roofs.
Roofing: Provide a manufacturer, model number, finish, and size for roofing material
concerning the gable.
