Draft - redlines.docx; Moratorium Ord. Draft - clean.docx Follow Up Flag:Follow up Flag Status:Completed Hannah, I’ve gone over your draft w/ a fine toothed comb and made several changes. Because there’s a lot of red “ink” on the page, I’ve also attached a “clean” version w/ the changes accepted. It’s easier to read. I’m sure we’ll both have more corrections but we’re making good progress. Please review this and let me know your thoughts. Enjoy your 3 day weekend! We were able to finally present to Bruce last week and it went well! He would like us to move forward with the process. To protect the district from a rush of quick-change permits by property owners anticipating the ordinance, he would like us to pursue a 6-month moratorium on demolitions and exterior building permits while we follow the process to get the LOD approved by the Board of Directors. I’ve drafted a moratorium (attached). Would you mind taking a look? Thanks, Hannah Ratzlaff Urban Designer Planning & Development, 723 W. I will keep you in the loop. From what I’m anticipating, this meeting will be about explaining the process, timeline, and possible hurdles. I’ll let you know how it goes! I took out the language about the local ordinance because the Board is only empowered to pass local ordinances; the verbiage is redundant. Let me know how your meeting with Bruce goes and if you need anything from me. Please keep me in the loop as you work through the various steps in the timeline.
