GENERAL NOTES
1. THE EXISTING BANK BUILDING WILL BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY UPON
OPENING OF THE NEW FACILITY.
2. DISCONNECTION AND RECONNECTIONS TO THE REQUIRED UTILITIES
WILL BE PLANNED BY OTHERS,
3. PAVEMENT THICKNESS DESIGN AND ADDITIONAL CONSTRUCTION DE-
TAILS ON SITE WORK TO BE DESIGNED BY OTHERS.
4. THIS STRUCTURAL BEAM AND COLUMN SHOULD BE REMOVED AS RE-
QUIRED TO PERMIT CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW BUILDING. TEMPORARY
STRUCTURAL SUPPORTS TO REPLACE THOSE REMOVED WILL BE DE-
SIGNED BY OTHERS.
5. SPECIFICATIONS AND DETAILS IN CONFORMANCE WITH ACCEPTABLE
CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS WILL BE PREPARED BY OTHERS EXCEPT
AS SHOWN ON THESE PLANS.
6. ISOLATION JOINTS FOR CONCRETE PAVING SHALL BE DESIGNED BY
OTHERS AT POINTS OF CONTACT WITH EXISTING CONCRETE SURFACES
OR NEW BUILDING CONSTRUCTION.
7. CONTRACTION JOINTS SHALL BE LAID OUT BY THE CONTRACTOR AT -
iHE TIME OF CONSTRUCTION. JOINTS SHOULD BE SPACED AT INTERVALS
EQUAL TO THE SLAB WIDTH, BUT IF THE WIDTH IS MORE THAN 10 FEET,
THE SLAB SHOULD HAVE A LONGITUDINAL CONTRACTION JOINT ALONG
THE CENTERLINE.
8. CONSTRUCTION JOINTS FOR CONCRETE PAVING SHALL BE FORMED AS
BEVELED KEY JOINTS AND SAWCUT 3/4" TO 1" DEEP.
9. CONSTRUCTION SHALL CONFORM ESSENTIALLY TO THE SPOT ELEVA-
TIONS INDICATED. FORMWORK SHOULD BE FIELD -VERIFIED BY THE CON-
TRACTOR PRIOR TO EACH POUR TO INSURE PROPER SLOPES FOR DRAIN -
AG E.
10. ALL 3' HIGH LANDSCAPE LIGHTS SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM
CONSTRUCTION AREAS.
