2 Section 5. That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock,
3 Arkansas, and designated district map be and is hereby amended to the extent and in the respects necessary
4 to affect and designate the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.
5 Section 6. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
6 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
7 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
8 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
9 ordinance.
10 Section 7. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are inconsistent with
11 the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

Good morning. Melvin Edwards thinks the temporary parking area will be necessary for 2 to 5 years. At the point they
would either build Phase 2 which would remove the temporary parking area or bring it into compliance with islands and
landscaping.

Good afternoon. I'm working on the Bank OZK project
Mr. Gleason has gotten concerned that he will be shy parking when the bank opens or shortly after. He
is considering adding some temporary parking which is shown on the first attachment. This location is
tucked behind the building and parking deck and screened well from Cantrell and Chenonceau.
We would like to construct the paving with no interior islands or landscaping since the bank plans to
construct the conference center, parking deck and possibly a hotel as shown on the approved PCD. The
2"d attachment is a sketch of the proposed parking.
If you haven't been to the HQ site lately, I've attached a link to a drone video. In several views,
you can see the trees that are being planted along the main entrance. They were purchased a
year ago in Georgia and are being brought in to create a great entrance to the facility. The HQ
site will exceed all landscaping requirements specified in the code.
We're hopeful this gives you some cover to approve a temporary parking situation
