1. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH ALL MATERIALS, LABOR,
EQUIPMENT, TRANSPORTATION AND SERVICES NECESSARY FOR
COMPLETION OF THE WORK AND PROVIDE AND/OR COORD-
INATE PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, TELEPHONE,
ETC. TO PROVIDE COMPLETE OPERATING SYSTEMS.
2. ALL PERMITS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE
CONTRACTOR'S WORK SHALL BE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE
CONTRACTOR, AS WELL AS THE ASSOCIATED COSTS.
3. ALL WORK AND MATERIALS SHALL COMPLY WITH STATE AND
LOCAL CODES. CONTRACTOR SHALL INSURE ALL MATERIALS
ARE IN FULL COMPLIANCE WITH FLAME SPREAD REQUIREMENTS.
4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONSTRUCTION
METHODS, PROCEDURES AND CONDITIONS, EXCEPT AS
SPECIFICALLY INDICATED OTHERWISE, IN THE CONTRACT
5. ALL MANUFACTURED MATERIALS, COMPONENTS, FASTENERS,
ASSEMBLIES, ETC., SHALL BE HANDLED AND INSTALLED IN
CONFORMANCE WITH MANUFACTURERS SPECIFICATIONS AND
INSTRUCTIONS. WHERE SPECIFIC PRODUCTS ARE CALLED FOR,
GENERIC EQUIVALENTS WHICH MEET APPLICABLE STANDARDS
AND SPECIFICATIONS MAY BE USED IF APPROVED BY THE
ARCHITECT. CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE SHOP DRAWINGS FOR
ARCHITECTS REVIEW AND APPROVAL, TYPICAL.
6, ALL WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS SHALL BE GUARANTEED
FOR ONE YEAR AFTER WRITTEN ACCEPTANCE.
7, IN THE EVENT OF A CONFLICT BETWEEN APPLICABLE CODES
AND REGULATIONS AND REFERENCE STANDARDS OF THESE
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, THE MORE STRINGENT
PROVISIONS SHALL GOVERN.
g, IN THE EVENT OF CONFLICT BETWEEN THE CONSTRUCTION
DOCUMENTS (ARCHITECTURAL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, ETC.)
THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT THE ARCHITECT FOR
CLARIFICATION PRIOR TO PROCEEDING WITH THAT WORK.
g, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS
AND DIMENSIONS AND SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SAME.
ANY DISCREPANCIES SHALL BE REPORTED IN WRITING
TO THE ARCHITECT PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF WORK.
10. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR
CORRECTING CLEARANCE CONFLICTS RELATED TO ITS MECH.,
ELEC. AND LIFE SAFETY SYSTEM WORK. THIS INCLUDES
CONFLICTS BETWEEN TENANT IMPROVEMENT AND SHELL AND
CORE BUILDING SYSTEMS, TYPICAL. +
11. ALL DIMENSIONS ARE TO FACE OF STUD UNLESS
NOTED OTHERWISE.
12. DO NOT SCALE DRAWINGS.
13. ABBREVIATIONS USED ARE THOSE IN COMMON USE. ARCHITECT
WILL DEFINE INTENT OF ANY IN QUESTION.
14• CONTRACTOR SHALL KEEP A RECORD SET OF AS -BUILT
CONDITIONS AND GIVE THEM TO THE OWNER UPON
COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT.
15. ALL PENETRATIONS OF FIRE RESISTIVE CONSTRUCTION SHALL
BE PROTECTED WITH APPROVED FIRE ASSEMBLIES.
16. PROVIDE BACKING FOR ALL ACCESSORIES AND CABINETS, TYP.
17. ALL FLOORING SUBSTRATES SHALL BE MACHINED OR
FILLED TO ENSURE THE PROPER OPERATION OF ALL DOORS
AND TO PROVIDE FINISHED FLOORS THAT DO NOT DEVIATE
MORE THAN 1/4" IN 10'-0" FROM LEVEL.
18. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL CLG. AND/OR WALL ACCESS
PANELS (OR ACCESS DOORS) AS REQUIRED BY THE AIR
CONDITIONING, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS. PROVIDE
APPROVED ASSEMBLIES WITH SELF-CLOSING DEVICES IN
RATED CONSTRUCTION. COORDINATE LOCATIONS W/ ARCHITECT
PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
19. ALL NEW CASEWORK SHALL BE FLUSH OVERLAY STYLE,
UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE, ALL DOOR, DRAWER, FIXED
PANELS AND EXPOSED SURFACES SHALL BE SANDED AND
FINISHED IN OIL-BASED ENAMEL, COLOR TO BE SPECIFIED. ALL
INTERIORS AND SHELVES SHALL BE SAME. ALL HINGES SHALL
BE FULLY CONCEALED WITH 140 DEGREE MIN. SWING.
PULLS SHALL BE AS NOTED IN WIRE TYPE IN SATIN CHROME.
ALL DOOR PULLS TO BE MOUNTED VERT.. GLIDES SHALL BE
SIDE MOUNT KV1320 OR EQ. W/ LOAD CAPACITY: DRAWER -75# FULL
EXTENSION, FILE -100# FULL EXTENSION.
COUNTERTOP AND SPLASH SHALL BE HIGH PRESSURE
PLASTIC LAMINATE ON 3/4" HIGH DENSITY PARTICLE BOARD
WITH PLASTIC LAMINATE SELF EDGE (1-1/2" ® COUNTER),
UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
ALL COUNTERS OVER 4'-0" IN LENGTH SHALL BE SUPPORTED

CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE FULL COLOR RANGE OF PLASTIC
LAMINATES BY FORMICA, NEVAMAR, AND WILSONART.
PRIOR TO FABRICATION PROVIDE CASEWORK SHOP DRAWINGS
FOR ARCHITECT'S REVIEW AND APPROVAL.
20. PROVIDE WOOD BLOCKING IN WALLS AT ALL
BOOTH LOCATIONS FOR TABLETOP SUPPORT.

MECHANICAL NOTES

PRIOR TO RELOCATION OF CORE DRILLS.
3. ANY DISCREPANCIES SHALL BE CALLED TO THE ATTENTION
OF THE ARCHITECT PRIOR TO COMMENCING W/ THAT WORK.
4. ALL ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ITEMS LOCATED IN
BUILT-IN CASEWORK AND MILLWORK WILL BE THE
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR.
5. ELECTRICAL OUTLETS SHALL BE POSITIONED VERTICALLY ON
WALLS EXCEPT WHERE NOTED OTHERWISE.

GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR COORDINATING
W/THESE CONTRACTORS TO INSURE TIMELY INSTALLATION.
11. COORDINATE WITH OWNER AND/OR ARCHITECT FOR SWITCHING
AND FOR THE LOCATION OF ALL LIGHTING CONTROLS.
ADDITIONALLY, ALL DINING ROOM AND WAIT STATION LIGHTING
SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH DIMMERS.
