HomeMy WebLinkAbout15909 1 RESOLUTION NO. 15,909 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE 4 AN ANNUAL PURCHASE ORDER WITH ENTERPRISE FM TRUST, IN 5 AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY-THREE 6 THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED FOUR DOLLARS ($463,804.00), PLUS 7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES,FOR YEAR 2 OF THE FOUR(4)-YEAR 8 LEASE PLAN TO LEASE FIFTY-ONE(51)VEHICLES FOR THE LITTLE 9 ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT; ABD FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS, it is critical that the Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) be equipped with reliable 12 forms of vehicular transportation; and, 13 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Board of Directors approved Resolution 15,301 (October 6,2020)for the 14 execution of a Four(4)-Year Lease Plan utilizing Source-Well Purchasing Agreement(formally NJPA)to 15 lease up to Fifty-One(51)vehicles from Enterprise FM Trust for a total contract amount not to exceed One 16 Million,Eight Hundred Fifty-Five Thousand,Two Hundred Sixteen Dollars($1,855,216.00); and, 17 WHEREAS,this resolution approves the payment of an Annual Purchase Order(APO) for year two 18 (2)of the four(4)-year lease plan; and, 19 WHEREAS,the annual cost for the lease will be Four Hundred Sixty-Three Thousand,Eight Hundred 20 Four Dollars($463,804.00),plus applicable taxes and fees. 21 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 22 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 23 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to approve an Annual Purchase Order for payment of year 24 two (2) of the four(4)-year lease plan in an amount not to exceed Four Hundred Sixty-Three Thousand, 25 Eight Hundred Four Dollars($463,804.00),plus applicable taxes and fees. 26 Section 2. The funding for the leased vehicles is available in the Fleet Special Projects Account No. 27 108609-72300-S60C471. 28 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 29 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 30 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 31 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 32 resolution. 33 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with 34 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
