3 A RESOLUTION TO SET MARCH 7, 2023, AS THE DATE OF PUBLIC
4 HEARING ON THE REQUEST TO ABANDON THE TWENTY(20)-FOOT
5 WIDE ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY, LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK 176,
6 ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, BLOCK BOUNDED
7 BY WEST 7TH STREET, WEST 8TH STREET, STATE STREET AND
8 SOUTH GAINES STREET (G-23-487); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,a notice has been filed regarding the request to abandon the twenty (20)-foot wide alley
11 right-of-way located within Block 176,Original City of Little Rock,Arkansas.
12 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1.The hearing on the notice of the request to abandon shall be held at a meeting of the Board
15 of Directors that will start at 6:00 PM on the 7th day of March 2023, at the Centre at University Park 6401
16 West 12th Street,Little Rock, Arkansas.
17 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
18 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
19 County,Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
20 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
21 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
22 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
23 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
24 resolution.
25 Section 4. Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other mattes inconsistent with this resolution are
26 hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
