3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK., RESOLUTION NO.
4 15,044(AUGUST 20,2019)TO EDIT PAGE 1,LINE 26 TO REFLECT THAT
5 AT THE END OF THE LEASE WITH ENTERPRISE FM,THE CITY WILL
6 NOT OWN THE VEHICLES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, while negotiating the Enterprise Lease, Fleet Services and Procurement proposed
9 language of the intent of the City of Little Rock,Arkansas"City"to own the vehicles at the end of the lease
10 term; and,
11 WHEREAS, since the basic leasing terms of Enterprise FM reduced the book-value for each vehicle
12 at the end of the lease term, language to own vehicles at lease expiration was removed; and,
13 WHEREAS,Fleet Services recommended executing a Five(5)-Year Lease Plan utilizing Source-Well
14 Purchasing Agreement(formally NJPA)for the purchase of up to eighty-four(84)vehicles from Enterprise
15 Fleet Management Trust;and,
16 WHEREAS,this resolution amends Page 1, Line 26 of Resolution No. 15,044 (August 20, 2019), to
17 reflect that at the end of the lease,the City will not own the vehicles.
18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. Resolution 15,044 is hereby amended to reflect on Page 1, Line 26 that at the end of the
21 lease,the City will not own the vehicles.
22 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
28 the provisions of this ordinance, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency including, but not
29 limited to,Little Rock,Ark., Resolution No. 15,044(August 20,2019).
